A RETRO ARCADE GAME FOR IPHONE & ANDROID

Slalom 64 is a retro game for mobile built the way 8-bit games were: one screen, one input, no menus between you and the run. It takes its cue from the skiing games that ran on the Commodore 64 in the eighties — the whole thing renders at 180×320 pixels and is scaled up with nearest-neighbour filtering, so every pixel stays as hard-edged as it was on a CRT.

Every colour on screen comes from the C64's VIC-II palette, the font is a Commodore character set, the music is chiptune, and there is an optional CRT shader with scanlines and barrel warp if you want the cathode-ray tube look as well. It is a genuine 8-bit mobile game rather than a modern one wearing a filter.

It runs on iPhone and Android, works completely offline, and you pay for it once. No ads, no in-app purchases, no subscription — every track, mode and music track is in the box.
